REGISTRAR OF TRADE UNIONS, KARACHI Versus GHULAM MOHIUDDIN

ORDER

1. Through these applications under section 10 of the Industrial Relations Ordinance, 1969, the Registrar of Trade Unions has prayed that the registration of the respondent‑Unions be cancelled because they did not file the Annual Returns and also because they are not in existence. Notices issued to the respondent‑Unions were returned unserved with the remarks that their offices were closed for a couple of years.

2. It is on record that the Annual Returns were not filed. I am also satisfied that the, Unions have ceased to function. The registration of the respondent‑Unions must, therefore, be cancelled and I direct the Registrar of Trade Unions accordingly.
