IFTIKHAR AHMED JATT Versus MUHAMMAD JAVED

ORDER

1. SALMAN ANSARI, J.--- Learned counsel for the appellant has submitted memorandum of compliance of the order of this Court which shows that a cheque for Rs.2,00,000 has been deposited with the Nazir of this Court. Let this cheque be forwarded to the Court of the District Judge, Karachi-West who had granted the petition for grant of Succession Certificate to the respondent No.1 Muhammad Javed son of deceased Muhammad Ishaq who had filed S.M.A. No.107 of 2008 which was granted by the learned District Judge, Karachi-West on 31st, July, 2008 hence the petitioner Iftikhar Ahmed Jatt Proprietor Messrs IAJ Sons employer of the deceased had approached this Court as they had received directions from the Commissioner Workmen's Compensation Authority under the Payment of Wages Act for depositing an amount of Rs.2,00,000 payable as death compensation along with legal dues of the deceased Muhammad Sohail if any within 10 days from the date of order, dated 8-8-2008 hence this petition as to the authority before whom the amount of Rs.2,00,000 be deposited. Hence Nazir of this Court is directed to deposit the cheque of Rs.2,00,000 submitted by the petitioner before the Nazir of District Court Karachi-West for distributing the same to legal heirs of deceased Muhammad Ishaq in accordance with the order dated 31st July, 2008 whereby S.M.A. No.107 of 2008 was granted.

2. This petition accordingly disposed of along with listed application.
