ORDER

Petitioner is alleged to have caused Soti blows on various parts of the body of the victim of attack including his palm. Only one of the injuries on the palm has been declared grievous.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends, that at the most the offence falls within the purview of section 325, P.P.C. It is further submitted that the co- accused have already been admitted to bail. The case was registered on 6 th of 1988, the petitioner is behind the bars since then. In this view of the matter, I direct that the petitioner shall be released on bail provided he furnishes bail bonds in the sum of Rs 25,000 with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of Assistant Commissioner Kasur.
