ORDER

1. JAVID IQBAL, J .--This petition for leave to appeal has been filed by Riaz Rashid petitioner whose application for the grant of bail was dismissed by learned Single Judge of the Lahore High Court, Lahore.

2. A case is registered against the petitioner alongwith others under section 302/452/148/149/427, P.P.C. at Police Station Ichhra Lahore on 18th December, 1986. The part attributed to the petitioner is that first he alongwith other accused persons broke open the outer door and illegally trespassed into the house of the deceased. Then he alongwith his co-accused Imtiaz caught hold of Muhammad Khan deceased by his arms and dragged him outside the house and when the women-folk in the house tried to rescue the deceased the other co-accused inflicted blows on them. Thereafter, the petitioner and his co-accused Imtiaz dragged the deceased out of his house for about 150 yards away and it was at this spot that another co-accused inflicted knife injuries on the chest of the deceased as a result of which he fell down and died. Thus, prima facie the petitioner had participated in the occurrence and facilitated the commission of trim although he did not inflict any injury to the deceased. It was for this reason that the High Court declined to release him on bail.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has not raised any law point before us and after hearing him we are of the view that no case is made out for interference in the impugned order of the High Court. This petition is, therefore, dismissed.

4. M. I./ R-28/ S Petition dismissed.
