MUHAMMAD ISHAQ Versus THE STATE

ORDER

1. Muhammad Ishaque petitioner has applied for grant of bail in case F.I.R. No. 222, dated 30-12-1985 registered under section 307/ 216/186/148 read with section 149, P.P.C. at the Police Station Liaqatpur on the allegation that he alongwith two others had encountered with the police when he was spotted out aas for harbouring some of the culprits at his residence. It is alleged that despite firing from both the.sides nobody was injured. In view of the fact that nobody was injured in the encounter alleged by the prosecution, the petitioner to my mind deserves the grant of concession of bail. This petition is, therefore, allowed. It is directed that the petitioner be released on bail subject to his furnishing bond in the sum of Rs.10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only) with one surety in the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.C./Trial Court, Rahimyar Khan.
