ORDER

This is an application for the suspension of the execution of sentence of Muhammad Zaman and 6 others, the petitioners who stand convicted under section 325/324/148, P.P.C. and sentenced to 5 years' R.I. and a fine of Rs.1,000 or in default thereof 2 months' R.I. each under section 325, P.P.C., to one year R.I. each under section 324, P.P.C.; and to one year R.I. each under section 148, P.P.C. with the direction that the sentences will run concurrently.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners has not pressed the application to the extent of Muhammad Zaman, Sardar and Allah Ditta petitioners, so the application to their extent was dismissed. As far Muhammad Bashir, Muhammad Nazir, Muhammad Siddiq and Muhammad Hussain petitioners, the learned counsel submits that they had not caused grievous injury to P.Ws. As against this, the learned counsel for the State has opposed this application.

3. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties with care. I find that since the aforesaid petitioners had not caused grievous injury to the P.Ws., therefore, a case for the suspension of the execution of their sentence is made out. They will be released on furnishing bail‑bonds in the sum of Rs.10,000 with one surety each in the like amount to the satisfaction of A . C . /Duty Magistrate, Sialkot.
