MUZAFFAR KHAN Versus STATE

ORDER

The petitioner is one of the accused in a case registered vide F.I.R. No.255/93, dated 7-9-1993 under section 460/302/109, P.P.C. at Police Station Basirpur, District Okara.

2. According to the F.I.R. in brief, the petitioner is alleged to have abetted his co-accused in the commission of the crime.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner, the State and the complainant were heard at length and the record of the case perused. Admittedly, the petitioner was not named in the F.I.R. and is not alleged to have been present on A the spot. Therefore, without commenting on the merits of the case, and as he is no longer required by the police and as he is neither a previous convict nor a hardened criminal, the petitioner is hereby allowed bail in the sum of Rs.50,000 with two sureties in the like amount to the .satisfaction of the A.C./Duty Magistrate, Depalpur, District Okara.
