ORDER

1. ' IMAM. ALI G. KAZI, J.--- Learned Additional Advocate-General admits that the detenu was arrested in April, 1992 and continues to be in custody since then. This is indeed sorry state of affairs. The Federal Government and Investigating Law Officers of the Province have kept him in custody beyond permissible period.

2. ' We would direct that the detenu shall be released on bail on his furnishing surety in the amount of.

3. Rs,1,00,000 and P.R. Bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Central Karachi pending decision by the Federal Government.

4. ' In case the Special Judge considers that the challan needs to be made final in accordance with law he may pass further orders regarding grant of bail or otherwise to the accused before him.
